Wide variety of bagels. Great service. Whenever I eat at other bagel establishments, I compare them to this one. Traditionally the best bagel and sandwich shop near here.

Barry's is outstanding. Simply outstanding food and service. Decades old, this local restaurant chain has a tradition of quality that makes it reliable. The bagels are at the core of the business, and the freshly made bagels are world class, with a selection of varieties that should suit any taste. It's hard to beat the choices for bagels alone. With the sandwiches, the fresh meats and vegetables make Barry's the best choice for a tasty meal. Portions are ample at Barry's, and the servers do not skimp on the makings of any of the sandwiches. Plus, the sides are remarkable. The deli choices offer a lot of items to complement any meal. My personal favorite is the cole slaw, which has a light cream dressing that sits nicely on the cabbage. It makes a tasty complement to a smoked turkey and Swiss cheese whole-wheat bagel sandwich for a very satisfying lunch. Yet there are other choices, and the baked potatoes are an excellent choice. And then there are the homemade soups. The options to eat-in or take-out offers are helpful. Sometimes it's easiest to have a meal in the nicely lit space and enjoy the meals right there. Other times, take-out is in order, so that you can bring a Barry's meal wherever you like and enjoy it at your convenience. It's one of Toledo's native restaurant chain, with the location at Central and Secor having a long tradition of excellent food and great service.
