I had recently moved and the distance necessitated I find a new stylist for my mop. Since she's right across the street, I decided to give her a call and ask a few questions. Brigitte requested I come in for a consultation (yes please!) which I loved because you can feel rushed, especially if it's your first time meeting and discussing needs.
When I went in an hour later (!) for my consultation - she had a last minute cancellation and was able to take me THAT DAY. She easily could have had me scheduled something out so I was so grateful!
What I loved most:
1) I was her only guest so she was incredibly attentive and the entire process went "quickly" (compared to waiting extra time for a cut/blow dry while I'm processing, for example.)
2) The thoroughness of the consultation
3) The extra-long wash & rinse.... ahhhhhh :)
4) The finished product, of course!
She completely transformed my hair for the fall transition and it looks SO much healthier now. As someone else mentioned, she's had 25+ years of experience so she's absolutely a Master. Just keep this in mind when it comes to $ (but completely worth it and arguably less expensive than other master hair designers in the area.) Also- don't forget, cash only!
The salon is conveniently located in the Hanna Building at the corner of Euclid & 14th, with meters directly in front of her shop (on e14th) for those who would drive. The salon itself is a bit dated (most likely the original decor from when it opened in '87) but don't let this fool you! She uses the Aquage line of products and stays up to date on the latest cuts, colors and trends. I even got the "upside down" hair cut for the first time!
My husband got his haircut with her 3 days after me and it was one of the best cuts he's ever had. He loved it!
