I set up an appointment to have a trailer hitch installed on my new vehicle. I explained that I was new to the travel trailer world and that I knew I needed a 2 inch ball hitch, as this is what the previous owner of my trailer had told me. Coleman did a good job installing the Draw-Tite hitch and the wiring (as far as I know), but there was never any explanation that I would also need a ball mount part or that I might need an adapter for the electric wiring. Again, I told them I was new at this. When I called the company and asked them about how to hook up my trailer to the hitch they installed, they then told me that I would need the additional equipment. I had to drive back to where my trailer is parked and figure it out for myself. At this point, I ordered what I needed from Amazon and finally have what I need (I hope). If Coleman would have told me on the phone when I made the appointment that they were only going to install part of what I needed and that they were not actually giving me a 2 inch ball hitch with my installation, and that I might need an adapter for the electrical - it would have saved me the extra work and aggravation, and I would have bought the additional parts from them. How about trying to make it a little easier for your customers, Coleman, instead of just leaving me hanging out to dry? I went there because I thought they would be the experts. This was not the case.
