Denny's

The food here is great, but the kitchen needs to get a clue. They serve fish, but have no tartar sauce. Ever. The very kind waitress offered to bring us mayo and relish so we could make our own, which we did, but it was not relish, it was dill pickle slices. We grabbed a steak knife and made tartar with some sugar packets. On busy nights, the kitchen gets so far behind that people leave. Our server tonight was terrific, but other times we have left because there was no one on the floor to take orders, or the kitchen didn't get the food out for a half hour before we gave up and left. Denny's used to be a great place to eat, but the last two or three years they have gotten somewhere between confused and chaos. But once (if) the food gets on the table, it's still really good grub.
