Distinctive Smiles

Let me preface this by saying that I absolutely hate going to the dentist. It is not for reasons of the sound of scraping, or irrational fear, but moreso two awful experiences and different offices that really left a bad taste in my mouth. Pun intended. I did some extensive research on the practice, read reviews online and felt this was the best facility in my area, covered by my insurance. When I arrived the building and grounds were very kept and updated. The office itself is very clean with one of the most comfortable waiting rooms I've encountered. The practice has staff that are not only extremely attentive, they are incredibly nice and personable as well. Dr. Tollefson himself is personable also, he makes jokes, but on top of that he has some of the best bedside manner I've encountered. He made a point of greeting me when I arrived and explained everything he was doing and there reasons why, what it meant, and made sure I was comfortable and understood before moving on to the next check-up. This is definitely one of the most enjoyable trips to the dentist I've ever had. I'm glad that I did my research and ended up in their care. I've already scheduled my six month follow-up and I couldn't be happier with the decision to become a patient at Distinctive Smiles.
