A Gild Pizza

We were really looking forward to trying this little place in Brimfield. It was on the way to meet with some family and we were to bring pizza. My wife ordered well in advance (60-90 minutes) and told them the time we would be there. When we arrived the older gentleman at the front was giving a customer his order and there seemed to be a great deal of confusion about it. They finally gave the man his order and he was on his way. We stepped up and asked for our order. The old man simply looked confused ..and a little nervous. It seems he had just given our order to the man who just left. Now I have a group of family waiting on dinner and nothing is ready. Old man shrugs his shoulders and says "sorry". Tells me they can remake it if we can wait 30 minutes or so?!?! No offer to make it right...just and offer to make me wait. I asked if orders are by name and he mumbled something about time of pickup? Needless to say I was none too happy and we told them we would not wait. He seemed just fine with that. Well our first time here became our last. Not sure how the older gentleman fit in, owners dad maybe, but way too old to be doing this..no clue. Very disappointed how they handled this screw up. This being said I can not comment on the food but the service is very poor. Not hard to see why places like this often go under - people will tolerate a mistake if you try to make it right.
