I called for a tow around 1 o'clock in the afternoon. I mistakenly told the gentleman on the phone that my fiancee was broken down at corners dental at Madison and north superior but he was at Owens corning, on madison and superior. It could not have been more than 10 minutes before I called him back and gave him the correct name of the business that my fiancee was at, and I really do not understand what the big deal was considering I gave them the correct streets just wrong company name, but I was told that after driving around for 2 hours the tow truck driver returned to the shop. Now my fiancee was broke down at owens corning and the security there gave him from the time he broke down, 1 hour before they were going to call their own tow and have our car impounded. So after 2 hours of waiting and owens corning calling their own tow, I called Granger back and that's when I was told the driver could not find my car. Now I would think instead of driving in circles someone would have called me but...No, they didn't. By the time the truck ended up getting to my car , the impound truck already had it hooked up. So I had to pay the impound driver $80 to pull over and put my car down. That driver and my father in law exchanged some words because that truck had ripped the whole exhaust off the car. Finally it's time for Granger to tow my car to the shop and he says he can't take it because the address I said and the address the shop gave him were different and if we wanted it taken there we needed to give him another 50 bucks on top of the 50 we already paid. So I call the shop. The guy on the phone tells me, no he is supposed to take it there and that he will call the driver. 15 minutes later my fiancee calls and says the guy is still refusing to tow the car. So I call the shop back again. The guy says he will take care of it. I get off work 3 hours later and my car is still in the same spot! So what do I do now..... I call again. At this point there had been so many problems I just wanted the guy to explain to me what happened and why it was never towed. But this time it was someone else I had not talked to and he starts going on and on about not being able to find it and how they waisted all their time trying to find the car in the first place and blah blah blah, all of that which was not my fault. Not my fault he couldn't find the place, not my fault they didn't call and ask where the car was. Then he tells me that they will come back for 50 bucks after already changing me 50 bucks to do absolutely nothing! So I try explaining to him that when I hung up the phone with the shop I was told everything was fine and it would be towed and again asked him what happened that now it wasn't towed. He starts screaming and cursing at me about everything that he and I already agreed had happened but still could not tell me what happened from the time I was told everything was fine to 3 hours later my car still in the same spot. So he curses at me some more and tells me to take my business elsewhere. I called back 13 times before the first guy I talked to got on the phone and talked to me. Every time I called the guy picked up and hung up without saying anything. So they ended up after about 6 hours total trying to get my car towed tell me well, I'll just refund your money but I'm not doing it tonight, I'll do it in the morning when I get to it. Really? This is how you treat your customers after your tow driver can't find the corner of madison and superior and drive around for 2 hours instead of calling someone, causing my car to be almost impounded, not to mention the 80 bucks I had to pay that guy, and then when after all that you just want to know what happened you get cursed at and hung up on by some guy that sounds like he's got something stuck in his nose and then told well you have to wait until tomorrow to get your money back because you have already inconvenienced me enough today because I missed 4 tows while my guy was trying to find you! F#*&ing Really? Wow. Ok. Yes I will take my business elsewhere.
