My wife and I have been attending the monthly Ihsan Community potluck events since last Thanksgiving. Ihsan lives up to its name, being an Islamic precept meaning "to do something beautiful". And here is another point to remember: Although neither my wife nor I are Muslim, we were welcomed with a warmth and sincerity that is rare in these times, and we made many new friends through whom we have learned much about the heart of Islam and the unity of the human family.
