Mom was recently moved here after a brief hospital episode. She is improving and seems to be receiving the care needed. The staff was very willing to speak with us (some present, some via phone) to discuss progress, concerns, and care plan. This facility is close to home, so there are lots of visitors from church and the neighborhood, besides the family. Compared to a 3-month stay elsewhere, 21 months ago, this is a wonderful experience.
I wish i could give this place zero stars. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONES HERE! My grandfather was admitted to Keystone with the knowledge that he was terminally ill with brain cancer. They gave him negligent care, and even yelled at my grandmother in front of a whole bunch of people about "what they were and were not going to do". After my grandfather passed away, my grandmother stopped in to have them fill out one sheet of paper for her nursing home insurance. The administrator very rudely told her that she was not going to waste time and money filling out the paperwork for my grandmother because neither she nor the nursing home was getting any money. From what I know, she is under obligation from the state of Ohio to fill out the paperwork, and it wasn't until she was threatened with the fact that my family would call the state of Ohio did she fill it out. (quite promptly after that I might add). My grandmother and family were and still are going through a hard time, and they made it a million times worse. Please, please, please, don't send anyone to this facility!!!!
My mom got better quickly here and got home. Staff were sweet, building was clean and the people were very helpful.
