Wasted my time... 2006 Mazda Miata, Blue, 130k miles. Acted as if I hadn't called the day before or his memory is so bad he forgot. Car was out of gas, running rough, died off the line multiple times for him and me without majorly slipping the clutch, possible timing chain guide failure in progress, possibly needs a clutch, moist interior on passenger side. When you say you're more than willing to provide bank statements showing you can pay for the car fully day of and say you're coming to put $1000 down on a $5000 car you might figure you'll be taken seriously... No such luck... He left me stranded in his mechanics parking lot after taking the keys from me to drive the car himself after I mentioned the issues I'd had with the car and he proceeded to kill it half a dozen times until slipping the clutch so bad that you could nearly smell it as he drove away... I walked 2 blocks back to my car and left, best decision I'd made that day...
