I was warmly greeted by the Communication Center. They wanted to know my pickup number, my trailer number. Then they ask me to spot my trailer at a particular door . Sometimes they will have me to spot the trailer in the yard. If I need assistance due to a trailer being dropped too low, the Communication Center will radio to a yard driver to help. While checking in at the gate I was given my new trailer number to be picked up. I would locate the trailer and do my pre-trip inspection also check the PO number that is located on the pallet of water. I would then proceed to the outbound gate which is the Communication Center. When I arrive at the outbound gate we are asked to shut off our engine. At the window the gate guard will ask for our pick-up number and the trailer number, after matching the seal number to the paperwork I proceeded to exit the facility. On a normal day I can be in and out within 15 minutes, I would say that is pretty good! I drive for Aim integrated Logistics, Columbus Ohio.
Great place to pick up a load. Truck entrance on east side and exit on southwest of building. Loads usually are 45k and few pounds. You have to slide tandem to the back.
