For Ohio, it is a good campground, just because the competition is so bad. In PA, WV, MI this campground would be two star at the most as they have by far better (and mostly cheaper) campgrounds. I give only two starts because during our recent stay, April 26-27, some fool decided to allow a tour bus company to use the campground as a parking lot. From early morning to about 9 pm a full size coach would race trough the whole campground to park next to the bathroom. EVERY 30 MINUTES OR SO. And when I say RACE, I mean 35mph in the 10 mph zone with children and pets around. Of course the wonderful lady driver would never shut the engine. She would idle the whole time and you could hear it all over the campground. I know some people reported this to rangers, not sure if they took action, I left soon after.
Our family had a great time Hiking throughout the woods. It was a beautiful scene. Nice chilly weather, makes being around the water colder. Wear boots and hiking gear. There are camping grounds, hiking paths, picnic areas, park areas, and tons of fishing holes! We love nature so this area is great for adventures.
