I went about 7 months ago with 2 bags of the stuff they are looking for. Needless to say the staff was so rude. They went through the clothes and made them a jumbled mess after they were done, just to tell me the UA Shirt was to old and the jeans from American Eagle were too. And that they probably wouldn't sell. Are you fricken kidding me????!!! People go to that store so they don't have to pay full Prices for overpriced clothes at those brand name stores, And They don't really look at the clothes they are selling on the rack to good. Because I have seen countless items have holes, frayed, or stains on them. I'm just saying, Pay attention to what is on the racks and don't make people feel stupid when they come in!! You are way younger then me to think you are smarter and THINK things might not sell! Specify in your ad THAT YOU WILL NOT TAKE CLOTHES OVER 6 MONTHS OLD!!! RANT OVER!!!

What an awful place. The entire staff is so rude. I wish I could've gotten the girl's names to make my review more informative. This happened on Aug 2, 2017 around 3:30pm. It was my first time there and my first time selling to them, and I brought a bin full of clothes, probably about 40 lbs worth of stuff freshly washed and neatly folded. As soon as we walked in, we were not greeted, but rather seen by 1 girl out of the many that were there, and when she saw us, she looked away quickly and decided to stand at her register and do nothing for a few more seconds, as if she simply didn't want to help us. We just stood there staring at her until she came over. The process of how everything works was not explained to me, despite me telling them that I had never been there before. They told me it would be 15-20 min to look through my things...(15 min to look through that much stuff?) While waiting for them to look through my things (which consisted of them eyeballing everything for a split second and throwing it in a pile), I decided to shop around. They really didn't have a whole lot of nice things, and the way the store was set up was quite overwhelming. After about 10 minutes, I saw my name on their board and had no idea what that meant, but went up there and they said they couldn't take any of my stuff because it was "outdated" or something along those lines (even though most of the things in their store were outdated). I had a lot of name brand jeans and things that I had never worn. They threw all of my stuff back in the bin and the lady who was telling me why they couldn't take my stuff was in such a rush I really didn't understand what she even said, but it truly felt like she was rushing me out. Throughout her spiel, she kept saying "it's no big deal"...I guess that was supposed to make me feel better? She began listing things off that they needed, (shirts, jeans, sweaters, etc.) and I didn't understand how that was helpful information because that's literally everything I had in my bin. She did offer to help me carry my bin to my car, so that was nice...but that was about the only nice part of the whole experience. Is every Plato's Closet like this? I'm afraid to ever go back to one. I cringe just thinking about it.
