Apparently, I missed out by not having Dawn as my salesperson. "Bud" was nothing but a roadblock to my overall satisfaction. What should have taken 3-4 weeks took over 3 months. I ordered laminate flooring, and Bud said it would take a few weeks to get in. Over a month later, I called Bud and asked about the status. His response: "Oh yeah, I was going to call you - it's backordered." Once the material finally came in, the installers showed up with no underlayment. That set us back a half day (mind you, I was making trips from out of state just to be there during install, which they said would take ONE day).
Day 2: The installers wrap up, and don't have enough material - over 150 sq ft short. I called into Bud, and tried to imply I would have to pay for the shortage. After telling him that wasn't going to happen, he spun it as a positive, saying I was going to be getting free material, etc. I drove down to the store to talk in person, and found Bud asleep at his desk. (I'd post the picture, but that might be crossing the line.) After his little nap, he tried to get me to pay the balance. I told him I'd already pre-paid the entire balance before work even began. He had to look through his mess of a desk to find my paperwork, and verified I had paid.
Fast forward a month or so: Material is in. They finish the flooring - whoops, now there isn't enough for the bathroom to be completed. Also the transitions from carpet to laminate don't match the wood. Oh, and several pieces of quarter round are not nailed in. A couple of weeks later, the installers finally come back and finish the bathroom.
Would not recommend this company - or at least Bud.
