This was the worst experience ever. I bought a dress online from Saks Fifth Avenue which costs over $600. I came to beach wood store last week for alteration. The tailor was very rude and mean. When she first entered the room almost 5 minutes after I arrived, she said “Why you are not ready? they told me you are ready?!!”. I told her that I just got here and I am getting ready. She went out and I started to wear the dress. She came again and asked me to go to another room since this one doesn’t have a platform. I wear my clothes again and we went to another room. She said “Of course you got the dress on sale”. I told her that I bought it in summer full price. She didn’t believe me and asked to see the receipt. She said that this information is very important to determine the price of alteration. After she saw the receipt. She told me that the alteration will cost me a lot over $200 and the price is same for both on sale and full price!!!! She said that it will take her an hour to pin the dress and I am so short !!! so she wants me to decide first. She was very rude. I told her no thanks and got out of the room. Such a terrible experience.
