I normally don't give poor/negative reviews unless they are truly warranted which was the case here.
After dealing with a new girl (who was truly very nice) for about an hour who was barely able to log in to her own computer, I thought would be a simple task for the MANAGER (who was on the phone before I arrived until after I left which must've been 4 hours) at least but again I was proven wrong. After attempting to get me a plan for 1.5 hours and changing my new phone number 4 times due to "the iPad not working" she finally did it! I was proven wrong a couple weeks later. After calling AT&T's customer service center to inquire about why my order was unfulfillable, it turns out that the manager had never actually ordered me a phone OR signed me up for a service plan!!! So the customer service lady and I (that same call) were able to sign me up for a plan, get yet another new number, and get a new phone ordered and shipped that same day. The whole process took about 8 minutes and I got my phone a few days later in the mail all thanks to the competent customer service lady. So I'm still not sure what happened at the store or if the manager just wanted to get me out of there but I'm pretty sure that many of the mistakes were due to being pre occupied by talking on the phone!!!!! Besides my time being wasted before, the worst part about being at the store is that they wouldn't ever tell me what the problem was or if they could sign me up that day or if I should just sign up over the phone or online. I have an extremely booked schedule so it's okay if I have to move a few things around but please give me actual reasons, not just the automated employee runaround. Overall, it was a lack of urgency/not respecting my time mixed with an extreme lack of knowledge of AT&T's employee systems.
The main reason I didn't give them a 1-Star review is because they spent a lot of time with me and really did TRY their best (or seem like it) to fix/help me with everything.
