Took my mommy three adult children, and two grandchildren to this restaurant today, for Mother's Day. Very disappointed with our server. Barely waited until my 76 year old mom was seated before asking if we were ready to order. Didn't ask if we wanted an appetizer. I told her mom hadn't even looked at the menu. Very pushy. Wanted our order NOW. Didn't even offer to come back after mom looked at the menu. Mom has diabetic retinopathy and has difficulty reading a menu. They were obviously trying to push as many people in and out as quickly as possible. My mom wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse for Mother's Day. She should have had a much more pleasant experience. At the end of our meal the server asked if my adult children were paying the bill.....um, no, we were there for MY mom. I was paying the bill. I assume she was more worried about the tip I would leave her since I was paying and she knew I was not happy with the service. The food was great, as always.
