Trailside Bicycle Company

I usually go to ORE for bicycle services but this place is a lot closer to where I live so I thought I’d give it a try. They didn’t appear to be busy, yet no one said anything to me when I walked in the door- no greeting, no “how can I help you,” nothing. I approached a guy that looked like he worked there and asked him if they sell bike tires and tubes to which he replied, “yeah,” in a rather condescending tone as if it were a stupid question, but again, I’d never been here and wasn’t sure what type of bike store to expect. I explained that I was there on behalf of my boyfriend because he needed a new tire, to which the man responded, again very condescendingly, “well does he need a tire or a tube, because there’s a big difference,” as he walked away and grabbed a tube before I could even respond. After cashing me out, he again made no effort to say “thank you,” or “have a nice day.” He said nothing at all, which was as awkward and rude as it sounds. As if this customer service experience wasn’t horrible enough, when I took the tube home for my boyfriend to install on his bike, he found that it had a hole in it. Needless to say, after this, I’m more than happy to continue making the long distance trek to ORE, where I went the next day for a fully functional tire tube and excellent customer service.
