The Warehouse is described in Mount Victory pamphlets as one of their many Antique Stores. There is a sizable gray area between antique store and rummage shop and The Warehouse exists somewhere in this gray area. Some of the merchandise it has can be considered antiques, other items are just old, but one thing is for sure, there is a lot of it - especially glassware. Furthermore, calling it a store is a bit of a stretch. It's name is apt as it is is more of a storage building and it faces the alley behind the address, not the main street. Isles are cramped and often blocked. Merchandise is often not clearly priced. Some merchandise is outside in the weather and has been ruined. There is no check out area per se', no bathrooms, and no parking.
If you are looking for high end antiques and a pristine atmosphere, The Warehouse is not for you. There are better stores for you on Main Street. If you are like us and enjoy searching for the diamond in the rough, you might well enjoy this place, despite it quirks - just plan on cleaning what you buy when you get home.
A few notes, you will need to park on East North Street and walk down the alley to get there. Also, there is not much of a sign, so look for the storage building with lot of stuff outside it. There are two, the larger one has merchandise inside and the smaller one outside only.
I gave The Warehouse 3 stars because it could be done so much better just with what is there, but it is still worth the visit if it is the right kind of "store" for you tastes.
