Wintana's beauty salon

Would NOT recommend. First off, even though I called 4 days in advance and made an appt. for my Mother; when we got there she acted like we didn't have an appointment and even suggested we were in the wrong salon. What??!! My Mother is 92 yrs old and wanted her hair pressed and curled. I looked for a local black salon for her and found Wintana's online with good reviews. What a joke. All her friends must have left the 5 star reviews because we sure didn't get 5 star treatment at all!!! All she got was a wash, about 8 curlers in her hair and sat under the dryer for 30 minutes. For this she was charged the unbelievable price of $39.00!!!!!!!!!! No straightening, no treatments, no chemicals or products of any kind were used. No cut. Nothing, just a wash and set!!!!!!!!!! I could have done this at home. My mother's hair is very thin. I asked if she could put something on it to hold the curl, she said "no" she doesn't need it. Never ever would I go here again. My mother could have gotten better treatment at a chain salon for less than half the price. UNACCEPTABLE.
