I took my dog Tiff there after she had what seemed to be a seizure. Once we got into the exam room, the woman helping the vet asked my family and I how long it'd been since the symptoms had started. We couldn't say an exact day, so I said I wasn't sure. The woman said, "How can you not be sure when your dog started doing this? Really?", and I responded with, "You don't have to speak to me like that". The woman then said, "Excuse me? I can talk to you however I want". I was already panicked because of my dog. I was getting upset because I just wanted my dog to be helped, she seemed like she was still in really bad shape. I told her to stop speaking to me that way and please just help my dog. The woman proceeded to push me out of the door and said to get out. I drove home while my family stayed behind to take care of the situation. I stayed home worried about my dog and upset that I got treated that way. I was afraid because she was constantly putting her hands on me and pushing me out of the clinic, and I had to leave my dog there with my other family members who weren't giving the woman an "attitude".
I haven't been back since and I'm in school now to be a veterinarian. This experience truly changed my life due to the completely unprofessional behavior I experienced.
