I was super excited about coming to this store, ignorantly thinking it was "high-end". When we walked in, no one greeted us and we were both immediately overwhelmed by the amount of clothes in stock. We were looking at some items when the (I'm guessing) manager began to publicly yell at her employees...IN FRONT OF US. Working in retail myself, I was mortified for these employees.
By this point the store is looking grimy and unprofessional.
I go to try on my few items and (as another review pointed out) they didn't even ask how many items I had! They didn't look, didn't check, didn't care. Even an unexperienced thieve could steal so much from this store. The dressing rooms hadn't been cleaned in years and they had no system for "put-backs".
We go to the checkout and the manager (who had yelled at her employees AGAIN in front of us) began to check us out after WAITING for about 10 minutes. She didn't smile once. Giving people the benefit of the doubt, we both began to crack some jokes or ask how her days was going (mind you, that should be the store employees job) to no avail.
She sharply began telling us the return policy which was a blatant "if you don't have tags and a receipt there's nothing I can do for you". Even if that is your policy--there's always a nicer way to say that! I work at a location with a strict return policy, but I don't say "there's nothing I can do for you".
She crumpled our clothes in a bag and didn't say goodbye or have a nice day or even thank you for spending money at her store.
Not wanting to go back to the dressing rooms, I didn't try on all the clothes I picked out. So when they didn't all work at home I literally cried because I didn't want to go back to that store because the manager was so rude and, honestly, scary to me. I didn't want to be yelled at for returning something (even though it's my right as a customer).
I will never return to this store--clothes are cheaply made and even though the prices are OK, it's not worth the emotional trauma from the management of this store location.
