Dr. Dowling is a wonderful doctor, but unfortunately after over 5 years of seeing him, I will have to stop, due to the Lindner Center implementing a yearly $200 "membership fee", just to be able to get an appointment. Can't be put through your insurance, so it doesn't count toward your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum. I am extremely disappointed and also concerned that I won't be able to get an appointment with another quality psychiatrist in the area. Obviously mental health is now more about making money than helping people; only the rich survive.
Edit: a couple months into this, they decided to issue a refund to anyone who had paid the fee. However, I'm still scared that they might institute this or something similar again.
