This was a very confusing dining experience for me. The food was quite good, but everything else felt off. No cocktail or wine menus were provided-- strange for higher-end dining. Our service began extremely slow. We had a large party, but waited forever for service. The strange ambiance and lack of cohesion with the decor was noticeable and I wouldn't typically care about that. The menu was good, but it was hard to tell what they were going for there too. It made us hesitant to try the higher priced meat dishes. The owner came to visit and gave us free appetizer coupons, which was nice. We would almost always tip 20%+but a 20% automatic gratuity felt like they were taking a serious liberty when 18% is much more common. The mac and cheese was yummy and I also liked the calamari and sauces. I'd consider trying again with a smaller group.
